The last thing you want to do is drop precious ETH on an NFT that doesn’t live up to the hype, or even worse - get rugged.
It’s only been a few weeks and I’m only scratching the surface here - but I’ve found that owning a KaijuKing brings you deep insight into the minds of the most hardcore NFT investors, while teaching and giving you the resources to become one yourself.
There are thousands of NFT communities out there. I’ve spent an enormous amount of time in dozens of them, soaking in and assessing the value they provide, and even watching my investments go to zero. I’ve also built communities myself and have seen the beautiful and unexpected emerge from them. So as I entered Sorashima City, I jumped right in to see what the community was about. Shortly after, I pulled the trigger and became the proud owner of this chill, vaping, baby Kaiju #3751.
So was it worth it?
Vibes first
I strutted into the Lizard Lounge, plopped down, kicked my feet up, and took a deep pull from my vape, feeling proud of my new identity.
“GM King! 👑” echoed from every corner of the room. The KaijuKingz greeted me with fist bumps, welcoming me into the family.
“GM King?” I vibe with that. That’s a fire salutation.
We’re all deeply affected by language and our personal narratives. The stories we tell ourselves influence the way we act, forming feedback loops and self-fulfilling prophecies. Today, I’m a King. And everyone in the community affirms that identity to me.
That title - “King”, carries weight. You’re not just some cute fluffy animal like most NFT mascots. You’re a badass KaijuKing. That’s the vibe here.
The hidden value of a jpeg
Alpha
What I like about smoking e-cigs is that you can do it anywhere. It’s convenient, odorless, and still gives that buzz that brings you deep focus into whatever it is you’re doing. And that buzz was peaking. I needed to check out the other rooms. If the rumors were true, the Alpha Labs were the place to be. These 24/7 channels are where the Kingz meet and exchange secrets.
Secrets? What kind of secrets?
Every King has their own strategy and set of mental models. Some like to assess volume, play with reveal timings, or follow certain wallets. Others provide deep insight by writing detailed summaries and fundamental analysis. Certain Kingz research the team and founders, going beyond what’s on the project’s website. Taking pieces of each strategy reveals if an NFT project is just a cash grab and exposes red flags most newbie NFT investors won’t see. All these great minds are working together in real-time, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Not only do you see how the most passionate NFT investors think, you get to see the product of their thought processes. How?
The Kingz create threads on specific NFT projects pre and post-mint.
They research and provide deep dives into projects. This is something I haven’t seen in many other communities, making owning a KaijuKing extra special. They’re researching projects, breaking down the details, and aping in before anyone else. A look at one of the threads shows that they were in Boss Beauties months ago when the floor was at 0.3 ETH (the floor’s 2.3+ ETH today). That’s one of their many wins.
You’re a KaijuKing? Come on in!
If you’re like me, you hate whitelist grinding. You don’t have time to participate in the “WAGMI” spam. Unfortunately, it seems like the only way to get into projects early. But not if you own this jpeg. Owning a KaijuKing gets you front row tickets to projects without the regular grind.
This isn’t an unusual occurrence. It happens everyday. With the reputation KaijuKingz have, if you’re a founder it’s instant validation having Kingz support your project. So founders have an incentive to offer whitelist spots to Kingz. As I’ve said, Kingz are the real deal when it comes to combing through projects. The Alpha Labs channels reach into the depths of projects to sniff out red flags. So when a founder meets the community’s standards and Kaijus join, it’s a great sign.
The result?
KaijuKingz are offered whitelist spots to many projects very early on. Because I own a Kaiju, I got whitelisted in projects like GFsNFT, CryptoKraken’s Club, Sarutama, Unifriends, and Atomverse - all in my first week.
Conclusion
My vape’s almost drained.
That’s the problem with these things. You can smoke them all day without even noticing. But what you do notice is that incessant nagging cough that makes your friends and family uneasy and inch away from you. Anyways, let me wrap this up.
So after a few weeks is buying KaijuKing worth it?
Well that depends on your goals. What are you buying it for?
The community provides you a place to test your investment theories, filter out rugs, and snag whitelist spots - providing instant value. Flipping your way to breakeven and beyond won’t take long.
I was hoping to see some official mentoring in progress. That’s what initially attracted me to the community based on KaijuKingz’s website. It hasn’t surfaced yet, but people are helping each other navigate the NFT space. Small mentor-mentee interactions are happening at the micro level everyday.
These are just my initial thoughts on the community alone. I didn’t even deeply explore every channel yet. How will this place continue to grow after the fruits come to bear on their partnerships? How about the actual NFT and what the founders are doing - the upcoming mutants, Rooftop Rampage, etc.? There’s so much this community has to offer, and with the execution I’ve seen from the founding team, there’s no question there’s much more to come.
Thanks for reading King! 👑
